New Catalog Available Now

Libraries rely on specialized software systems to catalog materials, search our inventory, and maintain library card records. Our former system was over 15 years old and was outdated. As this upgrade takes effect, you will see some continued interruptions to services as software systems transfer over.

How to Log In to Your Account

To log in, visit cplcatalog.org. Click the login button in the top left corner. A drop-down screen will prompt you for your barcode and a passcode. Enter your 16-digit library card barcode with no spaces. Your passcode is the last 4 digits of your library card barcode. You can reset your passcode once you have logged in by clicking on your Account. 

How to Use the New Catalog

Take a self-guided tour through the new catalog by clicking the circled buttons! Each page you navigate through will have tour button suggestions, which will guide you through how to search, place holds, and more. 

Reading History

Reading history is accessible under “Checkouts & Requests.” You must have opted in to having your reading history saved for it to be visible. If you do not have your reading history saved and would like to do so, click on your account, click edit and make sure the check box by “Reading History” (under the Registered Library Branch drop-down menu) is enabled. 

While our new catalog has launched, there will continue to be some minor interruptions to services as we complete the transition.
